In maths, we have been learning about the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have been learning about interesting words like edges, faces and vertices. I have created fact cards about different 2D and 3D shapes.

For  literacy this week, we have been written a letter about a crayon quitting their jobs. We have learnt

how to publish it by animating our voices on Adobe Express.

We took inspiration from the picture book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Check out my video!

For reading this week, we have been learning about Matariki & space. I have researched about the planet Pluto and other Dwarf planets. I have made a presentation about what I have learnt.

In maths this term we have been focusing on learning strategies for addition and subtraction. For Matariki, I have created a star constellation and used my addition strategies to calculate the total distances.
